FORMER Tamworth coach Courtney Belford has become one of the youngest managers in the Midland League at the age of 27.
Nuneaton Griff have appointed the middle son of former Tamworth, Atherstone Town and Rugby Town manager Dale Belford in the wake of their 8-5 FA Vase defeat by Rocester.
He replaces John Farmer, who stood down before the Vase game.
Belford will be assisted by Ross Innis and Adam Davies.
The new boss has already been in touch with Tamworth and Nuneaton Town’s Academy in a bid to sign young players.
