ALTHOUGH I have now reached the grand old age of 85, I am a new reader of The Non-League Paper – and what a breath of fresh air this has been for me!
Owing to circumstances beyond my control, i.e. the relegation of my beloved Leyton Orient, I now buy the above instead ofThe Football League Paper.
The Non-League Paper is a real eyeopener about real football people – the grass-roots of our national game. It evoked memories of my boyhood, for at the age of six years I lived with my grandparents a stone’s throw away from Green Pond Road, the home of the now defunct Walthamstow...
