CAT’S GOT THE CREAM AS NEW GOSPORT NO.1

IT’S ALREADY third time lucky for Mick Catlin at Gosport Borough – now he hopes to mark it by leading the great escape.
Catlin has returned for another spell at Privett Park having previously assisted John Robson and long-serving Alex Pike, who left the club last week after 12 years in charge.
This time, however, Catlin has the manager’s hot seat to himself and is charged with saving a club rooted to the foot of the Evo-Stik South Premier table with eight defeats from eight games before yesterday’s visit of Hitchin Town.
