CROWBOROUGH Athletic will be back at their home ground on Saturday after placing plans for a 3G pitch on hold.
The Southern Counties East Premier outfit signed a three-month groundsharing agreement with Maidstone United at the start of the season so that the new artificial pitch could be laid at the Crowborough Community Stadium.
But the project has been delayed, and with winter approaching, club officials decided they would have to wait until the bad weather is over. Crowborough will now return to their home ground for the FA Vase second round game against league rivals Croydon.
