FORMER Market Drayton Town boss Martyn Davies has been named as joint manager of Whitchurch Alport.
The 36-year-old will work alongside Luke Goddard at the North West Counties Division One outfit.
Davies was sacked as Market Drayton manager in early October after 18 years with the club.
He then took up a managerial role at Shawbury United, but felt it was not right for him.
Goddard, 27, had been in sole charge at Alport since Carl Everall left to join Crewe Alexandra just before season start.
