I READ with horror, and a great deal of concern, that Raj Singh is about to be offered a path back into football by leading a consortioum to take over at Hartlepool United (NLP, April 8).
Well, all I can say to our north-east neighbours is ‘Good luck’ and ‘Be careful what you wish for’!
How anyone would want Raj Singh to run their football club is completely beyond me!
He ‘ran’ my club Darlington for three years and ran it into the ground, quite literally!
