THINGS looked rather bleak for Ebac Northern League club Hebburn Town back in March 2017.
The Hornets put out an appeal to the local community asking for support after attendances had plummeted.
The club’s future was at stake as they struggling to deal with the surge in interest at fellow South Tyneside club South Shields.
The appeal was met by a heartening response as attendances increased, they played friendlies against both Newcastle United and Sunderland and the club started to build momentum.
