GOZIE UGWU says ending his disappointing brief spell at Chesterfield and signing for Boreham Wood has given him a new lease of life.
The 25-year-old former Dunfermline Athletic, Yeovil Town and Wycombe Wanderers striker enjoyed a terrific season at Woking in 2016-17, scoring 21 for the Cards in Non-League’s top-flight. But since joining Chesterfield last summer in League Two, Ugwu has not scored for the club and he was made available for transfer by manager Martin Allen.
