ANDY Hessenthaler is backing his former No.2 Ben Strevens to be handed the Eastleigh manager’s job permanently.
Hessenthaler left the Hampshire club to take on a second stint as manager of Dover Athletic this week, leaving the former Barnet and Wycombe Wanderers midfielder in caretaker charge on the back of a six-match unbeaten run.
