IT’S such a relief to hear the ‘will he be hired, won’t he’ saga at York City has ended with Sam Collins finally given the permanent job – and rightly so!
The football had become terribly stale under Martin Gray and keeping him in charge would have led to a hugely anti-climactic final season at Bootham Crescent.
