CONGLETON TOWN continued their strong start with a comprehensive 5-0 win over West Didsbury & Chorlton at Brookburn Road. Goals from Dean Warburton, Billy Hasler-Creg, Bevan Burey and substitutes Mini Adegbenro and Dec Fletcher did the damage.
Barnoldswick Town, who started the day fourth in the table, were beaten 2-0 at mid-table Whitchurch Alport at Yockings Park – Congleton have now leapfrogged them.
Bottom of the table Abbey Hey produced a strong performance to get a surprise 2-1 win over Padiham.
