THE LEAGUE is in mourning following the death of president Ken Huckle on Tuesday.
Ken was the referees’ secretary for many years, having been a respected referee himself in his younger days, officiating at higher levels.
He succeeded Ron Monkley as the president several years ago and had been very active in the role, taking a full part in league business and frequently undertaking ground inspections.
