CITY IN FURY AS PLAN IS JILTED

FA VASE quarter-finalists Canterbury City have been dealt a major blow after planning permission for a home of their own after 20 nomadic years was rejected this week.
On Tuesday, Canterbury City Council’s planning committee voted down plan for a three-pitch stadium and sports hub at Highland Court Farm, Bridge, which included a new home for Canterbury Rugby Club.
