McCALLUM FIRES BUT IRON ARE STILL HOT

PAUL McCallum took his National League goal tally to 19 with another double as 10-man Eastleigh survived a late Braintree onslaught to maintain their play-off push.
The striker gave the Spitfires an early 2-0 lead by twice heading in Mark Yeates corners on 12 and 16 minutes.
But he was then forced to withdraw at half-time with a recurrence of a shoulder spasm which he had picked up during last week’s win at Aldershot, where he also netted twice.
He was one of three experienced players taken off through injury, as the hosts also lost defender Reda Johnson (hamstring)...
