LANCASTER’S unbeaten run of seven games came to an end with a heavy home defeat to Buxton.
The first opportunity of the game fell to Tom Dean, whose header from a free-kick was blocked on the line by Paul Dawson, with the ball falling into the hands of goalkeeper Jack Sims.
Brad Carsley had a great chance to put Lancaster ahead after 20 minutes when a Matty Blinkhorn pass seemed to have set him free on goal but he hestitated too long, allowing Buxton’s defence to recover and clear the danger.
