LOWESTOFT continue their slow climb away from the bottom with an important victory over Banbury United which stretched their unbeaten league run to six games.
The all-important goal came against the run of play and from the penalty spot in the 19th minute when Jake Reed was felled in the area by Harry Whitehead.
Connor Deeks stepped up to place his spot-kick high to the left of Jack Harding.
