TRURO CITY have been purchased by rugby club Cornish Pirates in a move said to “secure the future of professional sport in Cornwall”.
Contracts have been exchanged and now the takeover awaits National League and FA approval.
The National League South side were groundsharing at Torquay United earlier in the season, but returned to Treyew Road in January, and will now stay there for the foreseeable future.
