DANNY Slatter has become the third man in charge of Stanway Rovers this season.
Slatter, who had been working as a coach at the Hawthorns, has been promoted to the top job following the sudden departure of manager Terry Spillane.
The Essex Senior League outfit announced that Spillane had left by mutual consent, and that Slatter will be in charge on an interim basis until the end of the season. Former Maldon & Tiptree, Aveley and Thamesmead Town boss Spillane had been appointed following the departure of Lee Fisher in early November.
