LEAMINGTON secured National League North football for a third consecutive season with a comfortable victory. The Brakes have made a bad habit of starting games slowly and they were caught out again here as the visitors moved ahead on seven minutes with a well-struck volley from Jordan Sinnott.
Tony Breeden prevented Alfreton from doubling their lead when he denied Richard Peniket with a superb save as he met Sinnott’s cross with a powerful close range header.
