NEWLY-formed Jersey Bulls are to play League Two outfit Stevenage in their first game while preparing for their debut in the English Pyramid.
The Bulls aim to make history by becoming the first side from the Channel Islands to compete in an English league, in the form of the Cherry Red Combined Counties Division One. They have invited Stevenage to their Springfield Stadium home on Saturday, July 6. The Bulls are hoping to emulate Guernsey FC, who also entered the Combined Counties and played their first game against league opposition, in the form of AFC Wimbledon, eight years ago.
