BARWELL did their best to spoil Kettering’s celebrations.
The entire day had an end-of-season air to it in front of a bumper sunshine crowd ready to see the Poppies lift the trophy.
Brady Hickey’s low shot on five minutes was spilt by Paul White but he recovered before a second shot was made.
Jai Rowe was also a continuous nuisance, with a shot over the bar and a powerful header.
