POPULAR club captain Gary Connolly was the toast of Kings Langley as he came off the bench to give Kings the narrowest of victories and keep their play-off hopes alive.
With news of rivals Poole Town’s win at Met Police already coming through, Kings were running out of time.
But cometh the hour, cometh the man, as fellow substitute Lewis Putman raced down the left wing to deliver a fierce low cross that the incoming Connolly met first at the far post to beat Kingsley Latham and send the home contingent into ecstasy.
