WITH both sides having little left to play for, this in many ways was typical endof-season fare.
Even so, Merthyr created the clearer opportunities on the day and will feel that it was two points dropped.
Very early on, Farnborough looked dangerous through set-pieces and Tony Halsey’s third-minute header just looped over.
There were few chances in general before the interval, though Merthyr’s Ryan Prosser was only just wide with a far post header on 26 minutes.
