MET Police were looking to retain home advantage in the play-offs against a Poole side with all to play for.
Poole became only the second team to win at Imber Court this season and visiting supporters raised a massive cheer as the points ensured they remain in fifth place.
Poole were strong in defence, causing difficulty for the Blues forwards to control the ball.
