WALSALL Wood climbed to the top of the table after thumping title rivals Ilkeston Town 4-0.
More than 1,500 packed into the New Manor Ground and the majority were left stunned at the break as Darren Byfield’s visitors opened up a 3-0 lead thanks to goals from Kyle Rowley, Jak Barnes and Javia Roberts.
