BILLERICAY TOWN have added two experienced players ahead of their quest for promotion – and another one is set to join them.
Shrewsbury midfielder Doug Loft is expected to sign for Harry Wheeler’s side once he has resolved contractual obligations there following the captures of centre-backs Gavin Gunning and Craig Robson this week.
Gunning, 28, started out at Blackburn Rovers but spent his time on loan at Tranmere Rovers, Rotherham United, Bury, and Motherwell before signing for Dundee United, where he played 83 times.
