POPULAR FA CHIEF TITCOMBE DIES ON DUTY

FORMER UEFA match delegate and Football Association stalwart Adrian Titcombe has passed away aged 73.
The affable Titcombe was taken ill last week while on UEFA duty in Cyprus as a member of the delegation attending a Europa League qualifying match between Apollon Limassol and Austria Wien.
He kicked off his career at The FA in the early 1970s, starting in the Competitions Department before progressing through the various sections of the governing body, including Security, to eventually become Head of Operations.
