STANSFELD are set to appeal the dismissal of joint-manager Billy Hamlin after he was seemingly mistaken and punished for a spectator’s foul-mouthed opinion aimed at a referee.
Hamlin was sent off in the 39th minute of their Kent Senior Trophy Preliminary Round tie at Greenwich Borough.
However, it is believed the obscenity directed at the official actually came from the terraces and joint-boss Jamie Phipps is hoping the ban can be overturned.
