WITTON Albion’s chairman admits his counterparts at rival clubs are right to be concerned after Ossett United’s infamous court case defeat.
John Salmon warned that more players could end up claiming for damages if they are injured during matches after Rees Welsh was awarded £20,000 by a judge in Manchester.
“Is it the next gravy train? Probably not”, Salmon said.
“However, some lads will look at this and think ‘I might just chance my arm’.”
