POOLE’S first home game for four weeks saw their fourth victory in five against promotion rivals Swindon Supermarine with first half goals from Marvin Brooks and Will Spetch. The opening 10 minutes were end to end with both teams squandering good chances. After only two minutes, Harry Williams was put through but Luke Cairney saved well whilst for Poole, Spetch had two good chances but failed to hit the target. Poole took the lead after good build up play by Luke Pardoe, the ball falling to Brooks on the edge of the box who smashed in.
