STALYBRIDGE Celtic boss Simon Haworth has landed a major coup after signing experienced striker Chris Holroyd.
The 33-year-old former Macclesfield Town and Wrexham frontman links up with Celtic after leaving National League Chorley, where he scored nine goals in 30 appearances.
“We are delighted to have him on board,” Haworth said of the former Crewe Alexandra youngster, who also represented the likes of Brighton & Hove Albion, Rotherham United and Preston North End during his career. “Chris is a good players and a fit lad, a lot fitter than his age suggests!”
