ROCKS NEED TO BUILD A FUTURE

CASH-STRAPPED East Thurrock United have made a plea for financial help ahead of an open meeting on Wednesday.
Following the sad passing of owner Ben Bennett, the BetVictor Isthmian Premier club are hoping to fill a number of roles, with long-serving manager John Coventry set to leave at the end of the season.
The club say they are determined to continue to thrive as they hand over to new management.
Former Hornchurch manager Colin McBride is representing the Bennett family and assisting the Essex club.
