FORMER Gateshead captain and manager Ben Clark has returned to the club in an academy coaching role.
It’s a position the 37-yearold held with the Heed before becoming first-team manager in January last year.
The defender spent six years with Gateshead as a player.
“I love the club and I just think it seems a lot more stable,” said Clark, who will also take up a role as community officer with the Gateshead FC Foundation.
