National League play-off chasers in promotion plea

ANXIOUS National League promotion hopefuls are urging the Football League not to renege on accepting two clubs this summer.
League Two clubs ‘unanimously indicated’ they preferred to draw their regular season to a close at a meeting on Friday.
They have also asked for relegation to the National League to be suspended this term. The EFL have said ‘no commitments were made in this respect’ and their board will meet on Wednesday to consider the clubs’ views. Any decision of ...
