JAMES’ BURNING DESIRE!

HELLENIC Premier side Burnham appointed captain and FA Vase winner Ashleigh James as their player-manager for next season.
Former Flackwell Heath midfielder James, 29, replaced Paul Shone, who led the club to promotion from Division One East but has quit after two seasons in charge due to work commitments.
James joined Burnham two years ago after appearing for Thatcham Town in their 1-0 FA Vase final victory over Stockton Town at Wembley in 2018.
A club statement said: “Our new manager will do his utmost to bring success to the club and make something special.”
