SECOND place Welling United FC U19 ran out 5-2 winners against fifth place Woking in a rampant display at the Goals Soccer Centre, Eltham.
Unbeaten Welling – who started the season with a 4-4 draw against Dover, followed by a 1-0 win against Maidenhead – took the lead through a Bradley Ryan free-kick from 30 yards out. Ryan, who was a key player throughout, struck again for the hosts with a deflected shot from outside of the box, evading the Woking keeper’s reach.
