RAY Collier has taken over as manager of Eastbourne United following the resignation of Matt Crabb.
Crabb, who played more than 500 games for Eastbourne Borough, joined United in May last year, initially as first-team coach under Arron Hopkinson.
He quit following last Saturday’s Southern Combination 5-0 defeat at Steyning Town Community, following a mixed start to the new campaign which left them 14th in the table.
Crabb said: “I wish everybody at the club all the best for the future. The past year has had some fantastic times. Thanks to everyone involved.”
