MATLOCK TOWN boss Paul Phillips reckons he has landed a major coup in signing striker Craig Carney from Northern Premier League rivals Warrington Town.
The 27-year-old only joined the Yellows from FC United in the close season but now switches to the Autoworld Arena to boost the Gladiators’ attacking options.
Carney began his career at Southport before later having spells at Marine, Northwich Victoria, Lancaster City, Squires Gate, Bamber Bridge and Kendal Town.
And boss Phillips has no doubt that Carney will do well for the Gladiators.
