FREDDIE GRANT says Non-League footballers will be playing purely for love and enjoyment this season – and that’s why he’s joined Slough Town.
The 24-year-old former Wealdstone and Maidenhead United left back has signed for joint-bosses Neil Baker and Jon Underwood after moving on from Bath City because of the travelling.
Grant says the Covidhit campaigns and limited football over the last 18 months has made players acutely aware of why they started playing football in the first place.
