BRAINTREE TOWN boss Ryan Maxwell says Femi Akinwande can get even better for the Iron.
The former Concord Rangers and Stevenage striker has re-signed for the National League South outfit after a spell at Cressing Road last season before the campaign was cancelled.
And Maxwell is convinced he will have another impact.
Maxwell, who took the helm with former Braintree midfielder Nicky Symons as assistant in November, tweeted: “A player with great tools and still lots of room for improvement too! Really pleased to bring Femi back and get him firing.”
Braintree have also signed centre back Lance Akins from Isthmian Division One North outfit Maldon & Tiptree.
