TONBRIDGE Angels manager Steve McKimm believes he has pulled off a coup in landing Montserrat international Craig Braham-Barrett.
Braham-Barrett turns 33 later this month and has packed plenty into his career, including playing in the Football League. He will be an important addition for Angels, who were 14th in National League South when last season came to an early conclusion.
Boss McKimm said: “Craig is a player who’s impressed me for some time and I’m delighted to have obtained his services.”
The vastly-experienced defender was a youngster at Charlton Athletic before moving into Non- League. He enjoyed spells at Eastleigh, East Thurrock United, Grays Athletic, Farnborough Town, Havant & Waterlooville and Macclesfield Town.
Braham-Barrett got his chance in the EFL with Cheltenham Town where over two seasons, from 2013 to 2015, he clocked up 82 appearances for the Robins.
Loan spells at Woking and Whitehawk were followed by permanent moves to Dover Athletic, Braintree Town, Chelmsford City, Welling United, Hemel Hempstead Town and, most recently, Dartford. He has played 14 times for Montserrat.
