Mark Yates eyeing promotion with Stourbridge

REJUVENATED Stourbridge boss Mark Yates has returned from his Solihull Moors sabbatical determined to win a maiden promotion.
Despite a successful 600-game managerial career with the likes of Kidderminster Harriers, Cheltenham Town, Solihull and Macclesfield, the 51-year-old has never taken a team up.
“I need to win a league,” said Yates. “I need to win a promotion. I’ve been a manager for a long time and I’ve never achieved that.
“Admittedly, I’ve never been in a position where I’ve had a budget or a squad to do it. But that’s what I’m building here, and I need to deliver....
