HE HAS experienced life in every step of the top five levels of English football and had the honour of representing his country in a European Championship qualifier.
But even at the age of 42, on the back of a career spanning a quarter of a century, Dimi Konstantopoulos still has a buzz ahead of a new season.
The former Middlesbrough, Hartlepool United and Greece goalkeeper is currently undertaking his final preparations for the new Northern League season as he ventures into Step 6 football with Thornaby.
