■ ILFORD performed a giant-killing act at Mayesbrook Park.
The visitors opened the scoring after seven minutes when a free-kick was easily headed home by Lee Sharpe.
The home side nearly responed immediately, but George Purcell shot wide when a Jones corner was headed back by Elliott Omozusi to Charlie Heatley.
Then, after 44 minutes, the game changed when Barking’s Jay Leader was sent off for an off-the-ball incident.
The visitors scored again when Rachid Qist spotted Eddie Allan off his line and chipped home, before Ellis Leveridge made it 3-1.
