Leigh went down to defeat against a spirited Barton
Rovers side in a competitive
game.
In a goalless first half, the best of the action saw Rovers hitting the post from a Chaz Smith corner while both North Leigh and Barton goalkeepers were called into action to keep it all square.
Barton took the lead in the 61st minute when a Bradley Bell piledriver from 30 yards bulged the net.
