BOREHAM Wood became the shock leaders of the National League as boss Luke Garrard joked he’s happy to be the Arsenal of Non-League!
Tyrone Marsh struck late on to give Wood a priceless 1-0 victory and inflict a third straight defeat on ten-man Southend United.
Boss Garrard beamed: “If you ask managers or players, we’re efficient. I support Arsenal. George Graham was that boring 1-0 man. I’m happy to be that 1-0 man!”
Elsewhere, Ruben Rodrigues scored a last-minute winner for Notts County at Grimsby Town while managerless Stockport Count...
