EAST THURROCK remain rooted to the bottom of the table after this bore draw. But they will be glad of only their third clean sheet in this torrid season.
With chances very sparse at either end, the home defence was well marshalled by strong centre half, Curtis Ujah.
They did, however, create early openings.
In the very first minute Ben Wyss latched onto a header from Olly Miles and his effort flew just over.
Then Johnny Ashman’s shot was blocked and Wyss fired the rebound wide.
It was 18 minutes before Margate created their first opportunit...
