SCOTT Wara put in a superb display as Leek Town defeated Colne at Harrison Park.
Both sides started brightly in an end-toend match played in blustery conditions.
Defender Wara gave the home side the lead in the 24th minute with a stunning strike from 30 yards.
It was a wonderful effort and no more than Leek deserved. The home side were again on the front foot at the beginning of the second half.
Joel Tabiner and Billy Reeves were combining well.
Leek were then awarded a free-kick which Tim Grice managed to get on the end ofto make it 2-0....
