HASTINGS United maintained their lead at the top of the table with a last-gasp win over Sittingbourne.
For the second time this season, United edged it against the Brickies with a late, late goal from Tom Chalmers which was so unexpected that it sparked wild scenes of celebrations among players and fans alike.
This was a tough result for the home supporters to take who had seen Alex Flisher’s first goal for the club cancel out Craig Stone’s opener.
