LEWES maintained their play offs hopes when a strong first-half display brought them to within three points of fifthplaced Folkestone.
On seven minutes, Invicta striker Ade Yusuff flashed a shot over the bar after an explosive break down the left.
But the Rooks led on 12 minutes when Deshane Dalling cut in from the left and fired past Invicta keeper Tim Roberts.
And Will Salmon doubled the visitors’ advantage in the 39th minute when he headed home a deep Michael Klass freekick from the left.
